Kalan is a veteran of Canada's most successful venture-backed startups and leads Ethos with deep expertise in data, engineering, cybersecurity and applied AI.
Kalan holds BSc and MSc degrees in computer science from the University of British Columbia (UBC) and is an alumni of the Networks, Systems and Security Laboratory where he completed research under the Canada Research Chair in Systems and Security supported by NSERC and DND.
